Manual RRM-1 seedling planter

The manual RRM-1 seedling planter is used forsemi-automotized sowing of cartridge seedlings in one row in the open ground,in a bed up to 150 mm, including on a mulch film.

Duties:

Transporting of the seedlings throughout the field.
Adjusting the distance between plants from 25 cm to 50 cm.
Making holes within given sizes.
Planting of the seedlings into the hole by means of the planting pipe.
Automatic closing of the leaves of the valve of the planting pipe, higher than the planted seedlings.
Seedling laydown.

Structure:

The machine consists of the frame, the planting pipe with a leaf valve,handles, laydown gear, cartridge receiver, semirevolving spring gear, devicesfor automatic closing of the valve of the planting pipe.

Work routine:

The machine should be transported manually, the marker's pitch and plantingdepth set. When the steering wheel is up, you need to push the fixator's handlewhich is in the steering wheel. Then, set the semirevolving gear to action,it'll put the planting pipe down into the soil. Simultaneously, while pushingthe pedal for opening of the leaves of the valve of the planting pipe and theshoes pedal, take the seedlings out of the cartridge and put it into theplanting pipe. Just after the seedlings reach the soil, you'll need to put downthe steering wheel; lifting of the planting pipe will occur by means of thespring of the pole of the cartridge receiver and also automatic closing of theleaves of the valve of the planting pipe. The machine will return to thetransporting mode. In this mode, the machine is fixed by the fixation gear.When insignificant effort is made, push the shoes pedal (while holding thesteering wheel) in order to harden the soil near the plant's rootage. Take thefoot off the shoes pedal and move the machine up to the mark on the ground oron the film's surface. Repeat the technological cycle.

When all the seedlings from the cartridge are planted, lift the cartridgereceiver up to 2-3 cm and turn it by 90 degree for working with the nextcartridge.
