Two row manual seeder SMK-2 for sowing small vegetable seeds

SMK-2 seeder is designed for simultaneous sowing of small vegetable seeds in two rows in greenhouses, under glass and in the open ground.

Technical data

Number of sowing rows equals 2.

Possible distance between rows varies from 60 to 240 mm.

The height is 240 mm; the length is 260 mm; the width is 360 mm.

Arrangement

The seeder consists of 2 sowing devices with the bunkers of the SMK-1 seeder, placed at the general shaft. Every sowing device hasleys and is fixed on transversal traction of seeder with the possibility of regulating the space between rows. It is additionally possible to purchase a sowing bush for other crops or bushes for sowing of the calibrated seed of hybrids. For providing reliability of the work of the seeder and exactness of sowing, seeder is supplied with a brush terminator and a flip-out ejector for seeds.

Principle of operation

The seeder's principles of operation are analogical to those of the SMK-1 seeder. For mounting evenness of sowing it is necessary to make careful regulation of each sowing device.
